Totally unnecessary.

Been finding fault in all the little issues as of late.
Don't bother, just need to whine to be fine.

School's being polluted by just too many unnecessary humans.

A girl wearing tight-fitting top, a checkered mini-skirt that's mini-er than mini and a pair of toots..oh..boots, i mean.
Every single step she took is accompanied by the stupidest 'dance' gestures I've ever seen.
Super irritating.
Couldn't stand looking at the bimbo but my eyes were stubbornly glued to her.
Please uh, you're in a school, not a club for tootness sake.

An effingly huge girl wearing something that's meant for Eva Longoria.
Felt like my eyes have been stabbed.

Please uh, put your brain, that has apparently plummeted to your ass, back to where it should be.

DR. Love in da house.

I've got 2 clients under my care as of now.
Both clients are childhood friends of mine.
And I guess it's safe to say that they are both of higher intellect,
considering the fact that they got into their respective Uni with much ease.
But what happens when both are pinned down with relationship issues?,
though one of them is not even in an official relationship.
Dilemma? Fallen? Defeated?

Current situation of client A: Hanging.

Client A has been with her bf for over a year now.
And only recently, her bf opened up to her, saying that he's not sure of his actual feelings for her.
He said that he has not reached the level of LOVE and that that's something that they both should work towards.
Yesterday, she gave a lead to a probable cause of their tension: A third party.
Someone whom she knew and meet frequently.
Though this other person is not in the wrong because it's him that is confused.
According to client A, her bf felt some kinda unusual attraction towards this girl,
and is not able to fight the attraction off like he normally could.
As much as she doesn't want to end the relationship, she couldn't bear to wait any longer.
He's confused and indecisive, telling her that he needs more time to sort his feelings out and that he still likes my client and does not wish to part.

So he's honest and upfront. But what if he takes ages to come to a decision? All the more client A should try to regain his swayed attention, if she still loves him. Furthermore, it's just an attraction, nothing going on between him and the other girl. If his focus is back on track, they should be back fine though feelings for each other won't be the same as how it began.

Bottomline is, it shouldn't be a one-sided affair in a relationship. It has definitely gotta be mutual; both must want things to work out. If both parties are no longer keen or has uncertainties that seem to be unsettled within a period of time, might as well let the matters rest.

[Truth hurts, lies worst]

Current situation of Client B: Similar to client A.

Stay tuned.

Really?

Sidetracking is my middle name.
Or so it has been for the past few days.
Solely because it has got something to do with school assignments.
Without fail, everytime Microsoft Word & Powerpoint are up,
they'll be replaced by Facebook, YouTube and whatevernots, not long after.
And that is why, I can never be done with them on time as planned.

Now, is another of those sidetracking cases.
There'll be presentation later but "later then do slides lahh..." (been quite awhile since I TYPEd Singlish).

So anyway, woke up friggin' early to attend an interview that never happened FULLSTOP

Right, now back to what I was supposed to blog.
Bloghopped and found out that several friends have encountered or are encountering some problems with blogger.com.
Really?
Are there difficulties in loading up of pictures?
Lemme try that out.
.
.
.
.

K, so it took longer than usual to upload just this one picture.
Guess that's what my friends have been whining about yeah?

And anyway,
Happy happy birthday to 1st Brother and S-I-L,
on 29th & 30th July respectively.
May you guys be blessed with happiness, never-ending wealth, good health and healthy babies.
Amiin.

'Love' Story.

There is a friend of mine,
we gotta know one another through our other halves.
They have been going on for 3 years now,
triple of what we've achieved.

Even though we have just gotten to know in brief,
I shall say that the online chat with her yesterday (inclusive of the few meet-ups) disclosed so much about her relationship,
good and bad.
Of course, there are the smoothies and the bumps too,
but what startled me most was the fact that she has been living in lies.

She claimed she was tied down with his over-possessiveness, ridiculous restrictions, not allowed to do this & that, must do that & this or else. . .
Nonetheless, she still secretly does the things that she was disallowed to (shan't list them out here).
And from what I've heard, she's psychologically unstable,
to a point of self-destruction when things don't go her way.

On the other hand, he was somewhat forced to stay on with her,
due to the harm that she may inflict upon herself, or others,
if he doesn't play along with her ways.
He is also said to have changed for the not-so-good, since the commitment.

So, which side of the story to believe?

No doubt that they have been going on strong (or so it seems), shared laughters, jokes and whatnots, displaying affection, etc.

How much further can they go?

Let's pray for the best for them.

But the bottom-line is,
even though a couple may have interlocked their hearts, fingers (or whichever body parts they like), promising each other into an eternal life together,
that doesn't mean he/she already owns the other for life.
Restricting his/her freedom or robbing them of their own personal space and so on.

Secondly, people say they're honest and that they're not hiding matters from the other and blablahblab,
but again, how true is that?
It has proven to be an overstatement.

Just remember that whatever our actions or words, thoughts & intentions are, hidden or manifested,
He knows it all, inside and out.
Some may get to escape with their untruthfulness,
but don't feel too good about that Doods.

Rants.

People tend to appreciate dearest ones only after receiving desperate needs from them.
If not, being thankful is so scarce.

People tend to be so protective of their dollars and cents which makes them appear to have no sense(s) at all.
Don't they realise that whatever they have, a million bucks or whatnots, are never theirs? Yes, NEVER, even though they've worked bloody damn hard to earn it. Sad, but true.

You're saying most people are just around to satisfy their worldly whims and desires,
but you yourself aren't practising what you preach.
When someone dear really needs it, you come up with 1001 reasons not to let them have it.

Please.

Sunday, June 14, 2009

Hmm.

So there is this phrase that goes, "no secrets between us".
Some placed full emphasis on that saying it's for the best of the relationship.
But do they really hold on to that?
Like how sure can you be?
Even husbands/wives are close-mouthed about some matters, i'm pretty sure there are.

Because some things are better left unknown.

Then what if the partner gets to know about THAT/THOSE secret(s), somehow or other?

Outcome will be...?

Appendicitis (Wiki).

File:Inflamed appendix.jpg

File:Stomach colon rectum diagram.svg

Appendicitis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the appendix
All cases require removal of the inflamed appendix, either by laparotomy or laparoscopy
If untreated, mortality is high, mainly because of peritonitis and shock.

Laparotomy: A surgical procedure involving an incision through the abdominal wall to gain access into the abdominal cavity.
Laparoscopy: A modern surgical technique in which operations in the abdomen are performed through smallincisions (usually 0.5-1.5cm).

Causes
Acute appendicitis seems to be the end result of a primary obstruction of the appendix lumen
Once this obstruction occurs the appendix subsequently becomes filled with mucus and swells, increasing pressures within the lumen and the walls of the appendix, resulting in thrombosis and occlusion of the small vessels, and stasis of lymphatic flow
Rarely, spontaneous recovery can occur at this point.
As the former progresses, the appendix becomes ischemic and thennecrotic
As bacteria begin to leak out through the dying walls, pus forms within and around the appendix (suppuration).
The end result of this cascade is appendiceal rupture (a 'burst appendix') causing peritonitis, which may lead to septicemia and eventually death.

Symptoms

The typical history includes pain starting centrally (periumbilical) before localizing to the right iliac fossa (the lower right side of the abdomen); this is due to the poor localizing (spatial) property of visceral nerves from the mid-gut, followed by the involvement of somatic nerves (parietal peritoneum) as the inflammation progresses.

The pain is usually associated with loss of appetite and fever, although the latter isn't a necessary symptom.

Nausea or vomiting may occur, and also the feeling of drowsiness and the feeling of general bad health.

With the typical type, diagnosis is easier to make, surgery occurs earlier and findings are often less severe.

Atypical symptoms may include pain beginning and staying in the right iliac fossadiarrhea and a more prolonged, smoldering course.

If an inflamed appendix lies in contact with the bladder, there is frequency of urination

With post-ileal appendix, marked retching may occur.

Tenesmus or "downward urge" (the feeling that a bowel movement will relieve discomfort) is also experienced in some cases.

File:Acute Appendicitis.jpgInsya'Allah, everything will be alright.

Un-wiser.

Started to feel the jitters an hour before the surgery.
Racing heartbeat, cold sweat, and whatnots,
made me feel wanna fart even more.

The xray machine was supercool.
Never seen one of that sort.
Was instructed to wear this heavy magnetic 'vest',
place chin on a support while standing, and bite a stick-looking thing.
Then the upper half of the machine turns 360 and within seconds, done.
Different from the xray I went to at another private dental clinic.
In that clinic, they inserted the xray tool into the mouth,
pressed on the gum where the tooth is hiding and bled in the end.

So just when the dental surgeon and his assistant are all ready to start the surgery,
I asked for a cup of water.
That wasted about 2 minutes.

K surgery proper,
I was awake throughout the entire process
and even though my vision was covered (supposed to)
I could peek through the gap,
unveiling all sorts of dental mechanisms and substances that went into my mouth,
just to take out one stubborn tooth.
But at some point, I just gotta shut my eyes.

But after being put under local anaesthesia,
don't really feel much pain.
Even the injection of the gum to numb the area only felt like an ant-bite.
But I like it when the substance that was being squirted into the gum can be felt.
It's cooling.
Most significant was the drilling of the tooth (mum who's waiting at the lounge can hear it)
and the much effort that the surgeon took to pull the huge tooth out,
cos he went from sitting to standing position.
Didn't even realise that the tooth's out until he said that he's gonna do the stitching already.
That black thread got stucked in between my teeth,
practically flossing it.
Think I got tired of opening my mouth wide for a whole hour or so,
that it started to shut.

And I suddenly coughed out several times into their faces, twice.
I forgot to raise my hand as told, in any case if there's discomfort or pain.
I didn't even know I was going to cough cos the throat abruptly dried up
and felt as though someone was strangling.

But all in all, it was a refreshing experience.
Effingly relieved after all's done.
Not over though.
Most likely to go through that again in a years' time?
At least, I know what to expect.

So, removal of stitches in 6days' time.
Can't wait.

^What my right cheek was like yesterday.

^Stubborn molar, has to be drilled into 3 pieces.

^Woke up today, surprised to see how much swollen it has gotten. Really look like a chipmunk now.

^Yesterday's swollen lower lip turned into a long ulcer today.

The Uninvited.

As I was hanging up the laundry at the front porch,
saw this cute lil kitty from afar.
As soon as I opened the gate, it came running in.
My house must be extraordinarily cat-friendly.
Even my own cat is starting to get worked up by all the random kitties coming in.
Whatmore, right at the doorstep.
Cute lah!

To some, it's a tabooed food now.
But i can't help this crave for it.

Leave door closed, 24/7.

Those two bottles are samples of mosquito larvae taken by the environmental officers.
& for some uncertain reason, they left it behind.
I'm so gonna keep them as pets.

But yes, got FINED.
2nd time.

Unfortunate yesterday.
Happened to be the day that the down-turned pail got caught,
for containing stagnant rainwater.
Those people are just down-right sneaky.
Chose to conduct their rounds and checks when we least expected them.
But when we've cleaned and cleared everything free from water stagnation,
they refused to show up.

Thanks.

Tax-see.

The confrontational demon inside her was being aroused.

There is the cross-junction at Bugis Junction where the traffic is most of the time heavy,
especially on a weekend.
Swarms of crowd crossing, taxis piling up, a couple of them beating the amber traffic light to join the queue, & stuffs like that...

Right, so the green-man lighted up for pedestrians to cross,
but then there was this smart-ass taxi driver honking & gesturing at pedestrians (inclusive of myself), to give way for him to turn left into the taxi queue.
Even before pedestrians made way for him, he has already inched forward, almost knocking an oldie down.
Others shrieked.
By the time I was at the butt of that taxi, I purposefully knocked its ass so hard, with the bag of books that I carried, that the driver turned to face me and eventually pointed at me, giving the want-to-fight-ah? look.
By all means.

I got really worked up over this occurrence.
Maybe cos I wasn't in the right mood at that time.
Realised that I've gotten into such situations numerous times before, some even more intense.
Though at the end of it, I'll normally be the one feeling guilty and remorseful.

Back to the story,
after throwing pissed frowny faces at each other for a good 10seconds,
I let the matter rest even though I knew that I was being stared at as I continued to march on.
Kalau traffic tak jam aku rase dia dah keluar & start the kecohness.

Blood.

After smelling the world for a whole 2 decades now,

yours truly is still in the dark as to what blood group she's in.

Wasn't thinking about it until that topic was being discussed in a class.

The reason why we humans fall sick & suffer from a diversity of diseases is because we eat stuffs that are not meant for us to consume.
Because humans are categorised into different blood groups,
the food that can be eaten by each group also varies & sorry to say, is limited.
So it doesn't mean that a medicine that works for A, will also work for B.
And what you like to eat &/or always eat, may actually be doing harm to your body.

Hopefully, she's in the AB+ blood group.
Why?
Go figure.

It may sound crazy but i'm loving the weather now.
Despite having to walk around on super wet & slippery grounds,
running from a point to another in the downpour (i'm umbrella unfriendly) and hence soaking wet,
i'm totally diggin' it.
And the strong winds.

Couldn't care lesser.

You thought your good friend is worth that title.
But does he/she regards you the same way you do?
What happened after those years of friendship?
Abandoned? Forgotten? Misplaced?
I'm not affected by that occasion.
Maybe you had your reasons.
Ya, whatever.

Some tries so hard to be normal,
cos they think they're not,
just because they don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend.
That's beyond normal.

Lazier than Garfield.

Mum has been vehemently advising me to not dump laundry onto the room floor,
but as you know, bad habits tend stick around much longer than it should.
However, an idea struck.
Since dumping onto the floor is forbidden,
there isn't any domestic law prohibiting laundry from being thrown onto places other than the floor.
Thus, the above.

But at the other extreme,
I can be as hardworking as the ants.
So I woke up, saw the pile of junks on the table and chair,
can't stand looking at it,
and thus, below.

Can't get any neater than that y'all.

Instead of giving in to your whims and wants and whatnots,

just remind yourself to appreciate & embrace everything that you have now.
You'll feel so much at ease and most importantly, refrained from overindulgence,
thus, no spending unnecessarily.

Even when you're down with difficulties, problems, letdowns etc,
keep an open and positive mind,
believing that everything happens for a reason, only known to Him.

Constipated.

Yesterday's tomorrow, in retrospect, is the hottest day of my life.

Sat on the toilet-bowl for a friggin' 45mins, with the laptop (mine doesn't have a webcam, unfortunately).
Once done, stepped out of the enclosure, which for that moment felt like a sauna,
contented.
I just lost a kilo.

Phenomenal.

Should be asleep by now.

Was glued to the TV watching the repeat telecast of an Australian Open tennis match.

5-time Wimbledon Champ, Venus Williams, against a 20-year-old unseeded Spanish, Carla Suarez Navarro.

Gawd, what a match that was...V.Williams LOST.
Not that she played badly though, but S.Navarro is one B.A. girl.

Patient, calm, and just B.A.

Caller: Hello are you a property agent?

Me: Haha! No.
Caller: Oh but didnt you post up an advertisement? That's how I got your number. It was on the ad.
Me: Haha! Sorry, that agent must have forgotten his/her own hp number & out came my number instead. I'm still a student.
Caller: Oh sorry, bye.

Been getting SMSes & calls from potential property buyers,
& it's starting to irritate me.
Previously, it was just a couple of SMSes & a call every 3 days.
But lately, it's getting more frequent.
I'm expecting other calls but obviously not these.

Though I've got a lead as to where the 'advertisement' is being put up.
