Rescue Mission

Mission unexpected but possible.

Found this poor cute lil creation lying dead in the middle of two floormats yesterday.
Looked dead, but no.
It was in the nazak state but i made myself believe that something could still be done to save it.

While snapping pix, another of the same kind came landing right in front of me,
But not as nazak-y as the other.
This one can still afford to stagger and just love to step on the other weakling.

So eventually brought those twins home.

I named this one Kin.
Gender: Should be male.

And this vulnerable one, Lar.
Gender: Female, should be as well (afraid to lift its tail up to check coz it might just snap off. totally fragile, ok).
Why i name them that?
Aha. I guess it's pretty easy to figure it out.
Silly though.

And look.
Awwwwwww~

Then came this snob who just have to disrupt the whole emotional moment.

Doing the utmost best to keep them breathing, sadly, Lar could not be saved.
Within split seconds, Lar laid unmoved, frozen hard.
Cause of death: Possibly due to a disconnected neckbone.
It has been safely buried opposite my home.

May you R.I.P. Lar darling.
Buuhuu~
Left Kin, who've lost a 'hanyut' mum, a dad that may have been eaten alive by pigeons and 4 other siblings which includes Lar.

Brought Kin, the sole survivor, to the vet earlier.
Veterinarian said that the possibility of Kin surviving is very minimal as he is only 3wks young and don't have sufficient nutrients from his mum.
So the only way out is to force-feed him with whatever that the veterinarian has prescribed and recommended.

Thought of handing it over to SPCA but just had to go against that.
No doubt it's really like taking care of a human newborn, plus there's already a queen in the house, but absolutely nothing can break my dedication and love for him.
Let's pray that this creation of God can beat all odds and be safe in my safe hands.
Amiin.
Hee~
